Collage Art- Aboriginal Flag

Looking for a unique way to express your pride?

Each Pride Art Collage is handmade by Netty & Jess, mostly using the technique of greebling. Due to the variety of pieces of LEGO we have available, no two pieces are exactly alike.

This collage is based on the colours and design of the Australian Aboriginal flag. Each collage is one of a kind, individually made and uses different parts. They are based on the same pride flag design and colour choices, but no two are exactly the same.

We created this collage to celebrate the Aboriginal people of Australia. We are passionate about recognising first-nations people, and advocating alongside them for their sovereignty and human rights.

As non-indigenous people, we are aware of the copyright contention with the use of the Aboriginal flag. We are thrilled that the Aboriginal flag is now freely available for people to use.

Our collage is based on the Australian Aboriginal Flag. The flag was designed by Harold Thomas, a Luritja man of Central Australia, in 1971.

We are passionate about the health of indigenous communities, especially mental health. We have decided to give back in the following way:

$5 from the sale of each Aboriginal flag collage is donated to Black Rainbow.

The small framed collage is framed in a black shadow box with a white mat. Frame is 12cm H x 12cm W x 4cm D.

The large framed collage is framed in a black shadow box with a white mat. Frame is 27cm H x 27cm W x 6cm D.

The extra large framed collage is framed in a black shadow box with a white mat. Frame is 37cm H x 37cm W x 6cm D.
